In May 2017, a delegation in the field of environmental protection visited Hefei University for university-enterprise cooperation. Headed by Frank Karg, CEO of HPC AG (Germany), the delegation members include Hans-Jürgen Schneider, the company's Business Executive, Thomas Noack, Vice President of International Corporate Affairs, Xie Jiakang, General Manager of Li Yuan HPC AG (Hefei), and a representative from East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (ECEC).

During the visit, Wu Ke, head of Science and Technology Dept. in HFU, introduced Hefei University and its cooperation with German universities. Wu said that the university-industry-research platform, which had been jointly established with Li Yuan HPC AG (Hefei), would provide better service for people who are making endeavor to Sino-German cooperation in the field of environmental protection.

Schneider expected deeper cooperation to meet the high technical standards and the ever growing demands of clients. As a state-owned environmental protection company in Germany, he said, it had its advantages and the decision makers expected more cooperation with HFU in the future.
